Dr. Ebrahim Moshiri — portrait

Dr. Ebrahim Moshiri

Founder & Executive Director

Dr. Moshiri founded Unity Foundation in 2020 drawing on more than 30 years of engineering, education, and organizational leadership. As co-founder of Object Computing, Inc. (OCI), he helped design and build the Iridium satellite network — the world’s first global cellular system — and subsequently trained more than 50,000 engineers across Fortune 1000 organizations. At Unity Foundation, he leads all strategic partnerships, curriculum development, and regional ecosystem-building initiatives.

Interim Chief Executive Officer

Tiffany serves as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Unity Foundation, providing organizational leadership across operations, strategy, and program delivery. She brings executive experience and a commitment to mission-aligned governance that ensures Unity Foundation’s work is both impactful and sustainable.

Dr. April Roseman

Business Development & Strategic Outreach

April leads Unity Foundation’s business development and strategic outreach efforts — building and sustaining the partnerships with school districts, community organizations, funders, and regional institutions that make the work possible. She serves as a primary point of contact for organizations exploring collaboration with Unity Foundation.

Aaron Berkenwald

HR Manager & Curriculum Advisor

Aaron oversees human resources functions at Unity Foundation while also contributing directly to curriculum advisory work. His dual role bridges organizational operations and program quality — ensuring that the people and the programs driving Unity Foundation’s mission are both well-supported and well-designed.

Technology Advisor & Classroom Instructor

Tino serves as both a technology advisor and a direct classroom instructor for Unity Foundation — bringing technical expertise into the learning environment where it matters most. His work connects the organization’s open technology philosophy to the students and communities it serves, making abstract concepts concrete and immediately applicable.

Kevin Stanley — portrait

Kevin Stanley

Curriculum Developer & Program Instructor

Kevin leads the development and delivery of Unity Foundation’s Smart Greenhouse curriculum, drawing on three decades as a Partner and Principal Software Architect at Object Computing, Inc. (OCI). He brings practitioner-level expertise in systems modernization, cloud, and IoT — and a long record of mentoring engineers.

Jeff Brown

Open Source Technology Advisor

Jeff advises Unity Foundation on open technology and serves on its Board, bringing nearly three decades as a Partner and Distinguished Engineer at Object Computing, Inc. (OCI). A published author, speaker, and longtime open-source advocate, he works directly with students to make technology approachable, relevant, and fun.
